CHILDREN’s CANCER CENTER LEBANON
Because “no child should die in the dawn of life,” the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, USA opened its doors in 1962, making Danny Thomas’s dream come true. Danny’s wish was to open a similar institute in his home country; thus in 2002, the Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL) was inaugurated with a mission to save children’s lives
The Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon is a result of an agreement among the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon Foundation and the American University of Beirut Medical Center.
In April 2002, St. Jude delegation and the CCCL founders, with representatives from the AUBMC, inaugurated the Children’s Cancer Center, after 4 years of visits to the Lebanon, with an objective to establish an affiliate regional medical center in Beirut.
To support all children with cancer and their families through securing funds to:
– Have access to the latest treatment disregarding the parent’s ability to pay.
– Excellence in psychosocial services to help fight the disease
– Education to create better understanding and awareness
To provide access to free treatment and care to all children with cancer in Lebanon and the region, without any discrimination
Empowerment – Excellence – Humanity – Integrity – Ownership – Respect – Teamwork

The support of caring people like you helps the Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL) continue its lifesaving mission of treating children with cancer with no cost at all on their parents

CCCL is a regional pioneer in paediatric cancer treatment with a mission of hope and a healthy future for our dear children; where they are treated free of charge, with no cost at all on their parents.
Therefore, CCCL relies purely on donations; with a yearly budget of 15 million USD.
Thanks to our affiliation with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee; and the rigorous research of our doctors and scientists at the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC), we are proud and glad to have an average survival rate of 80% for our beloved kids!
